Review: Baileys Motel (Perth)

▲ Accommodation | ▲ Perth

Baileys Hotel Motel (www.baileysmotel.com.au)
Price? Groupon Deal of A$135 for 2 nights and wi-fi
When? October 2013.
Where? 150 Bennett Street, East Perth, WA

Baileys Motel

What say us? “Average but comfortable”
✔ It was a comfortable stay. Everything in the room was as advertised. Clean room and toilet. Room and water heaters are both working well.
✔ Wifi signal was good (our room was on the ground floor).
✔ Friendly staff. The lady at the reception was very helpful, providing directions and suggestions on where we could get dinner.
✔ Located at CBD fringe. Nearby: Free CAT bus stop, Bayswater car rental and Transperth 37 bus stop (public bus from the airport).
✘ Quiet at night. Not many shops nearby.
✘ Kettle in the room was rusty and we had to get it changed.

Next time? Recommended if you’re looking for something decent and fairly priced to stay around that area. But I will probably stay around Northbridge where it’s livelier – though the crowd might get a bit rowdy at night. Northbridge is also nearer to the main train station, and with more easily accessible dining places at night.
